MP Strahl Honors 20 Chilliwack—Hope Residents with King Charles III Coronation Medals
CHILLIWACK – Mark Strahl, Member of Parliament for Chilliwack—Hope has awarded 20 exceptional residents of Chilliwack—Hope with a King Charles III Coronation Medal.
“On May 6th, 2023, we marked the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. In honor of this special occasion, a Coronation Medal was created by the Governor General of Canada,” said MP Strahl.
The award, designed to commemorate this historic event, is being presented to 30,000 individuals across Canada who have shown exceptional leadership, service, and dedication to their community and country. The recipients come from various sectors, from community service to local government, and have all played significant roles in shaping our communities. Members of Parliament were each able to nominate 20 individuals from their communities to receive the Medal. Strahl sought and received hundreds of nominations for the award from the community.
“The King’s Coronation Medal offers a meaningful way to recognize individuals from across Canada who have made a difference,” stated MP Strahl. “Today, in my capacity as their Member of Parliament I was proud to present these medals to these outstanding constituents in my riding of Chilliwack—Hope,” stated MP Strahl. ““Chilliwack—Hope is blessed with exceptional people who want to give back to the communities that have given them so much. Congratulations to each one of them on receiving this honour.”
