The tape of the phone conversation between former Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould and former Clerk of the Privy Council Michael Wernick makes it clear that the Prime Minister was demanding a special deal for SNC-Lavalin. We heard the Clerk clearly when he said that Justin Trudeau is going to find a way to get it done, one way or another, he’s in “that kind of mood”.
The tape removes all doubt that there was a coordinated campaign to interfere in an ongoing criminal prosecution of SNC-Lavalin, and that Justin Trudeau himself was orchestrating it.
