Chilliwack- Following the passing of the Honourable Jim Flaherty, P.C., M.P., Former Minister of Finance, a Book of Condolences will be available to the general public at the office of Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon MP, Mark Strahl.

"My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Jim Flaherty. Thank you for sharing Jim with us, and allowing him to serve Canada so well," said Strahl.

Transformative bill to give victims a stronger voice in our justice system

Ottawa- Victims of crime will have enforceable rights in Canada's criminal justice system thanks to legislation introduced today to implement a Canadian Victims Bill of Rights, says Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon MP, Mark Strahl.

"This transformative bill ensures victims are at the heart of our justice system." Strahl added, "I'm very proud that our Government has listened to the concerns of victims and taken action to give them a stronger voice in our justice system."
